The location of the restaurant in the beautiful setting of Jägertal, near the Palatinate Forest, adds to its charm and appeal.
To create the website, I used Adobe XD and ATLAS, a design system that I created while working in a digital agency for design, web development, and online marketing services. ATLAS provides a framework for creating consistent, cohesive designs across different platforms and devices, ensuring that the website is both functional and visually appealing.
To bring the design to life, I coded the front-end part with HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS. The back-end devs did the custom WordPress part to create a website that is both easy to navigate and visually appealing, with stunning imagery of the restaurant and its surroundings.
The website design features a simple and intuitive layout that highlights the restaurant's online menu and shop, location, and history, making it easy for visitors to find what they are looking for. The design also incorporates the rich history of the restaurant and its location, with images of the Palatinate Forest and the iron hammer that was used to process iron ore more than 200 years ago.
