Video Production Agency Website

Originally a large scale project for the Swiss video production company based in Zürich. Providing all kind of services from pre-production to post-production. Filming commercials, documentary, TV and movies. As they say, truly moving moving picture.

This website serves in two parts, as a company profile with all the information, their work, team behind it and services they provide — pre-production like casting, location scouting, storyboard to post-production, animation, special effects and sound design.

Other part of the site is a store where customers can order services, buy stock videos or order custom projects. Each customer type has its customer area, with carts to edit and place the orders.

Design is responsive with all types of layouts and content elements like
full screen navigation, video header, audio/video players, image sliders, masonry project listings with filters, social sharing, Google maps, tables even!

I coded the front-end using Zurb’s Foundation framework for the responsive layout. The most part of UI/UX, element effects and transitions I wrote with CSS. The final stage of the project included some mobile layout fine-tuning and optimization.

This whole thing runs on a custom CMS, developed specifically for their needs by a great guy Tomislav Modrić. Features complete eCommerce solution built to handle different customer types, custom project orders, product licenses with included file information (length, resolution, size, format), price calculation, multi-language and many more.

It started as a fairly simple site as homepage suggests but ended as company's custom web-shop, fully packed with features. This is definitely one of the largest and longest projects I worked on.
